Enter the cozy city of Encinitas, 25 miles north of San Diego, through Interstate 5 to Encinitas Boulevard in the west or take a coaster train ride to Moonlight Beach or drive along Historic Highway 101. 60,000 residents cover the 21.5 square miles of prime estate land tucked between the Batiquitos Lagoon on the north and the San Elijo Lagoon to the south, which is Encinitas.
